Josiah was my 3GGrandfather. He was mustered into service December 11,1861. While in Jacksonville, FL he became ill in February 1864-was hospitalized for a short while in Beaufort SC and died September 18,1864 in Dover,NH while home on a surgeon's certificate of disability.
